Development, Security, and Operations
(DevSecOps) Engineer
Project Duration: 6–9 months, possible extension
Compensation: $50+/hr
Clearance: Not required
Location: Remote (U.S. only)
You don’t just automate pipelines. You secure the flow of innovation.
This is a contract role for a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Engineer who lives at the intersection of speed and safety. You’ll architect and refine secure CI/CD pipelines that serve federal-grade
environments and help keep our AI-driven cybersecurity platform locked, loaded, and launch-ready.
Translation: you're here to move fast - without breaking trust.
What You’ll Actually Do:
▪️ Build and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines
▪️ Integrate security tools and checks into automated development workflows
▪️ Support infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
▪️ Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to meet federal cybersecurity requirements
▪️ Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure performance and reliability
What You Bring:
▪️ 6–8+ years of DevOps or DevSecOps engineering experience
▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
▪️ Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), GitOps, and CI/CD tooling (GitLab,
Jenkins, etc.)
▪️ Familiarity with STIGs, DoD RMF, or other federal security frameworks
Extra Credit:
▪️Experience with zero trust architecture and secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, SOPS)
▪️You’ve built infrastructure that passed a federal security audit
▪️Bonus if you can document and diagram your systems like a pro
Why You Want This:
Because you believe security should be baked in, not bolted on.
Because you know how to automate without compromise.
Because working in high-stakes environments makes you sharper.
