Product Manager - Cybersecurity/AI
Project Duration: 6-9 months, possible extension
Compensation: $63+/hr

Location: Remote (U.S. only)

This is a contract role for a Product Manager focused on cybersecurity and AI products with serious real-world stakes. You’ll guide the design, development, and delivery of a next-gen cyber intelligence platform, ensuring everything we build solves the problems that matter.
Translation: you're the voice of the mission - and the user.
What You’ll Actually Do:
▪️ Define and prioritize features, user stories, and roadmap milestones
▪️ Translate federal cybersecurity needs into clear, buildable requirements
▪️ Work closely with engineers, designers, policy experts, and federal advisors
▪️ Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos
▪️ Align technical development with compliance and user expectations
What You Bring:
▪️ 6–8+ years of product management experience, ideally in cybersecurity or AI contexts
▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
▪️ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
▪️ Experience turning policy, research, or contracts into user-centered products
Extra Credit:
▪️ Familiarity with federal acquisition, GovTech, or defense innovation workflows
▪️ Experience with secure design principles and AI ethics
▪️ Bonus if you’ve taken a product from zero to pilot with federal partners
